I'm researching the family of George SCOTT, b abt 1817, England, m Ann COOPER, abt 1838, England, came to U.S. in 1856 settling in Kane Township, Pott co, IA. They had 12 children: John; George William; Henry; Thomas; and William are the names I know. George d 1883 and Ann in 1885. Son, Henry, b 1848 England, m (1) Sarah Rachel Springer, 1869, Pottawattamie co, IA, they had the following children: Laura E.; LuluA; Sarah Elizabeth; Harry G.; Bertha M. and Frank. Sarah d 1882 and Henry m (2) Karen Stena Hemmingsen, b 1861 Denmark. They had the following children: Thomas L.; Bessie F.; Raymond Howard; Ruth Carrie; Esther Ganelle; and Alice M.
