I am still looking for any information available on a William Scott born in Ireland in approx. 1796. He married Jane ? born approx. 1802 in Ireland and immigrated to Coburg Ontario Canada,Northumberland County and Haldimand County approx. 1846 There were at least 8 children born to this marriage all children born in Ireland and immigrated with the parents. The children were: Jane born approx.1825,marr. W. Hill, William 1829, James 1831, Thomas 1833, Robert 1835, George 1837, John 1839, Emily 1841. I have been unable to verify Thomas Scott. I have been trrying to find out if he was the Thomas Scott envolved in the Louie Riel Rebellion as the age and location appears very close. Robert born 1835 is my great great grandfather, I found some info. on the 1871 census but it was limited.
