Lillie, I don't have a connection but I have a Joseph Scott ! Would be glad to give him to you!Where are your people located? My Joseph Scott married to unknown first appears in the 1810 census for Giles Co Virginia as age 45+. Giles Co, Va was formed from Botetourt Co,and Montgomery Cos., Va in 1806. He is not in either of these counties in any records and apparently dropped from the sky. He had sons Joseph,Jr. and George Washington Scott and daughters Nancy Scott and Elizabeth Scott. Nancy married either David Niday or Joseph Paxtonabout 1798. Elizabeth married Jeremiah Moles in 1801. Descendents stayed in Giles Co, Va.as far as I know. Does anyone want have an extra Joseph ?
