I'm searching for ancestors/descendants of John Scott born November 12, 1826 and died in Llano or Burnet Co., Texas on July 29, 1907. He came to Llano, Texas in 1851 but I don't know from where? John is buried at Hoover Valley Cemetery in Burnet Co. along with his first wife Catherine Smith born September 27, 1829 and died March 7, 1873 and his second wife Rhoda Rebecca Hughes born 1853 and died 1930. John married Catherine on September 28, 1856 and had the following children: William Nimrod, Isaak I., Mary Jane, George Worthy, John Riley and Annie Elizabeth. John married his second wife Rhoda on July 1, 1873 and they had the following children Dollie, Nora Edna, Clara Victoria, Ernest and Leslie. John was of the Methodist faith and a wealthy land owner.
