I'm researching SCOTTs from England, too. My group begins with siblings Adam SCOTT, Jane SCOTT, John SCOTT (ca 1740-1803), Michael SCOTT (1747-1805), and Christine SCOTT (ca 1753-1819), from Northumberland, England, and Roxburghshire, Scotland. Several generations have been traced from this family - too many names to list here - merging with such surnames as CHARLTON, ATCHISON, and LITTLE. Several family groups emigrated to Canada, particularly Ontario, in the 1800s. I've recently connected with a group of individuals researching the same extended family, and their collective material is enormous.
