If you're going to be gone for an extended time, it is possible that your email box may fill up. If this is the case, the surname list will attempt to deliver new messages for only so long and then will assume your email address is no longer valid. When this happens, your email address will be dropped from the subscription list. When you return from your holiday trip and empty your overflowing emailbox, you may soon suspect that you're no longer getting email from this list. If that happens, please feel free to drop me a line and I'll check to make sure you are on the distribution list.
