Hi list, looking for any info concerning Isaac and Mary (May) SCOTT. Daughter, Clara Scott b1815, married John Beasley ROUSE b1810, they were married 1834 at Long Creek District, North Carolina. Her dad Isaac is listed as a member of the Onslow Co., detachment for the war of 1812. John and Clara moved about 1847, sold out everything and relocated to Ky. Setteled at Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky. Clara got pneumonia and died, 1853. John then married Mary Ann DOSSETT and proceeded to have a family of nine more children, any help prior to these family members is most welcome. And here we are----in the "Sunny, Warm South"----With the 5th day of snow piled up on our deck.....I will admit the snow is now only 2 in. thick, where it was 5 in. yesterday, and before that---who knows? Prediction now is for sunshine to melt the snow; however, the temp needs to get above 21 degrees for that, doesn't it? I woke up thinking I may have moved back to Ohio........
