I'd like to make contact with anyone who has this family: Abraham SCOTT b. 1753 MD; lived and died in Greene Co. PA 1845 children: Sanuel, John, Abraham, William, James, David, Polly, Jane, Rebecca, and Joseph. I'm not sure of his wives names, possibly Anges Armstrong (1st). (2nd) ?? I would especially like to find out when his children were born and the names of his wives. I believe that he had two. Abraham was a Rev. The DAR Patriot Index lists an Abraham Scott who was born 1753 MD. He died about 2/5/1845 in PA and m (1) Malinda Hall & (2) May Ann ------. He was a Capt and had a pension. You can send for the Application papers of the DAR member who listed Abraham as their ancestor patriot. It costs about $5. Contact a DAR member in your locality to help you, as a member needs to send for the papers for you. Hope this helps you.
