    3. I'm also looking for a James Scott b. abt. 1765, we believe in NC. Married abt. 1790 in NC, and d. abt. 1835 in Wayne Co., TN. Some believe he m. a Rhebecca. They had children: John Martin Scott b. 1791 in VA, two sons b. btw. 1794 and 1804, James J. Scott b. 1809, Nancy Scott b. 4/2/1811 in KY, Andrew Edward Scott b. 1812 in Adair Co., KY, Mary Scott b. abt. 1816 in KY or TN, Jacob Scott b. 1818, and William M. Scott b. 2/15/1826. I'm descended from Andrew Edward Scott and, therefore, have the most info on him.
