Hello Darlene I know that they lived in Granville, Putnam County Illinois. I have them in the 1900 census. George and Melvina Scott were married in 1875 in McHenry County, Illinois. I put a query on the list for McHenry County, but never got a response. I also put one on the Illinois Census list and they didn't show up in 1880. I have since found out that they had a child born in Granville in 1876. They must have moved right after marriage. I would have thought they would be on a census at some point in McHenry County.
