Hi, I am new to the list in the search for my Scott family. John Scott m Isabelle?, in Falkirk. They had 3 sons William, Walter & Andrew, 3 daughters, Mary,Margaret & Isabelle. John inherited "Woodend", in Bonnybridge. Walter is my 4th grgrandfather. He went to Ontario,Canada and married Mary MacGregor of Perthshire. I am trying to find John's family. His son William had a son Thomas, but I do not know Williams wife's name. I know Andrew & Isabelle never married. Also, going by the Scottish way of naming children, I believe John's parents to be William & Jessie Scott, just not sure. Walter was born in 1820, that is the only known date I have in this family. If any of this sounds familiar, please let me hear from you. JoAnn
