Hi, I'm a new subscriber and looking for information on my g-g-grandparents. The information I have on the family is shown below: Alexander Scott b. 1822/3 Scotland - Engineer/Engine Fitter Catherine Scott b 1826/7 Scotland - wife Henry Scott b 1852/3 Scotland - son - housepainter James Scott b 1856/7 Newcastle upon Tyne, England - son - grocers assistant Robert Alexander Scott b 1862/3 Newcastle - son - commercial traveller George Scott b 1866/7 Newcastle - son - scholar These records came from the 1871 census of Newcastle. I haven't traced them in the 1861 census yet, but am still looking hoping this might state where in Scotland they came from. If anyone has any information on this family which they could pass to me it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
