Has anyone come across a James Thomas SCOTT in the 1850 census, or any census after 1850? He was b/1802 in Lincoln Co., NC, moved to Overton Co., TN at an early age, and was in Davidson Co., TN in 1840-45. He may be listed in the 1850 census (AL, AR, MS, TX, ??) as J. T. SCOTT, James SCOTT, or Thomas SCOTT. He holds the secret to a major breakthrough in my 35 years of genealogy research. Any clues will be most appreciated Thanks for your help. E.
