I received the following information from a Mr. Scott in Illinois who tried to assist me. He is elderly and ill so could not go back review his notes. I sincerely appreciated the help he did give me. Lineage as follows: 2nd child of Hugh Scott b. 1726 d: 1819 wife Janet Agnew 1735-1814 Abraham Scott dob: 1757 location: none wife: Margaret McClaine, #2 Jane Kerr # ,3Margaret McMillen Died: 1 March, 1834 Adams Co. Pa. Hugh Scott {1st son of Abraham} born 1784 ca married ca: 1809, in Pa. Betsy Kerr and Hugh died 17, Aug 1849 in Pa. John Scott {2nd child of Hugh b. 1784} born abt. 1811 location: none shown, Married Martha McAllister , no date, died 11 Feb. 1882 no location shown. Children: Hugh D., John W., William, Mary, Joseph. No date of birth for any of the children. The rest of the family had migratated from Pa. to Ohio & then on to central Illinois.
