Have just subcribed today and am posting my interests to see if they ring a bell with anyone. My maternal grandmother was Violet Evelyn Scott, born 23rd May, 1914. Her parents were Thomas Henry George Scott and Lydia Jane (Beavis). They lived at 19 Arthur Street, Hove, East Sussex in 1914 when my grandmother was born, and her father was a laundry vanman. She had sisters, Ivy and Lily, and 2 brothers, (not sure of their names). My nan went on to marry George Victor Howe of Shoreham, and my mother, Jennifer Rosemary was born 2-12-41 with my aunt Patricia being born 4-1-45. If this looks familiar please get in touch.
