Forever in search of descendants of my great grandfather George SCOTT, born 1836 in Thornley, U.K. He married Rebecca Henderson 1858 at St.Giles Church, Durham City. The family moved about northeast England, known to have reside in South Hetton, Trimdon Colliery and finally Houghton-le-Spring. Their children were Martin, Ralph, Frederick, Francis, William, Margaret, Charles (my grandfather), Henry and Grace. Rebecca died 1881 at Trimdon Colliery. Sometime after that George married his servant Sarah Jane Osne. The census of 1891 shows this couple to have had children Hannah and Annie. George SCOTT died and was buried in Houghton-le-Spring in 1912. Best wishes, Charles Scott Dallas, Tx. USA
