Looking for information on the family of John Alexander Scott and his wife Mary E. First records of them say that they were in Lincoln Co NC, around 1830, they were in Marshall County Mississippi for the 1850 census and then in Bond County Illinois for the 1860 census, they died in Bond Co. They had the following children. J. William married Elizabeth, Jerucia Jane first married George Earnheart in Marshall Co Miss, then in 1870 she married George Nickolas Stoops in Fayette Co Tn, Leander Whitley married Nancy Reddick and then Priscillia Washbern both in Bond Co Il, Rebecca D. (Becky) married Whitmill Reddick in Bond Co Il, Jalah or Jalley, James Uriah, married Nancy A Grigg in Bond Co Ill , Mary Elizabeth, Margaret or Maggie, married Henry Hunterin Bond Co Il, and Rolinda A, (Adda) married Alonzo Weibel, also in Bond Co Il.
