My grandfather Charles SCOTT, his wife Lydia nee Tucker and three children, along with his sister Grace Dawson, her husband Ralph and 2 children, immigrated to Virden, Macoupin County, Illinois in the year 1910. Left behind in Houghton-le-Spring England were his father George SCOTT, step mother Sarah Jane. Also brothers Martin, Francis, Henry, William and Frederick. Also sisters Margaret along with half sisters Hannah & Annie. My great grandfather George passed away in 1912 in Houghton-le-Spring. He left considerable property to his children Outram and Henry streets in Houghton-le-Spring. Have been looking for descendants of any of the above for several years.
