My search is for any information on the following family Adam SCOTT b. abt 1813 possibly in Dunning, Perth, m Margaret NIVEN 1837 in Forteviot, Perth. They had at least 6 children: 1. Thomas b.1838 in Forteviot possibly went to Halifax, NS and married a Mary 2. Mary b.1844 Barony, Lanark possibly died before the family came to Canada abt 1850 3. Jennie (McLeish) b.1852 in Toronto (my gr grand) 4. William b.1855 in Toronto 5. James b.1858 in Toronto 6.     3. I have James Julius Scott b. 1804 KY, believed to marry Martha Jolliff 1828 Jefferson Co,IL. "Julius" and Martha had at least 8 children from IL to MO. The family is in Pulaski Co, MO by 1840. Martha apparently dies and "Julius" marries Angeline Scott c.1849 and has 6 more children: Mary Elizabeth, William Nicholas, Nancy, Rebecca, Josephus C., and James Eden. "Julius" dies along with wife Angeline in 1862 Crawford Co, AR. Mary m. Earnshaw, William and Josephus m. Bates sisters, Nancy m. Thom Gossett, and James Eden m. Adah Davis.
