    3. Hi, I live in Toronto Ontario and I work for the government of Ontairo. You might want to try a title search for property own in the land registry department for Bruce County. Note: The county names have change over the years, so if you are stuck..drop me a line and I will try and sort those out for you. The National Archives is a good source of data and so is the Ontario Archives. You can also try to obtain copies of the death certificates in Ontario. The goverment of Ontario we site is www.gov.on.ca The Ontario Realty Corporation is www.orc.gov.on.ca The National Archives is www.archives.ca Regards, Janet -----Original Message----- From: Sharon J. Mary, Have you tried the 1901 Census for Ontario. I found my relatives birth dates on it. Mine were from Scotland and lived in Grey County, Ontario. I hope this helps. One of my grandmother's brother lived in Wiarton, Bruce County, Ontario in 1916. He served with the Bruce Regiment in WW1. His military papers are the source of this information. The is a website for Bruce County that can help you with some information on the history of the people.
