Macolm,It appears that we Scots are a very secretive bunch. The McInnis Clan doesn't give up very much, if at all. They even avoided the census takers, on many occasions, in both the US and Canada. I've been posting queries for years on my Grandfather Roderick J. McInnis and I've only had people here in the US come up with info on him here in Massachusett, for which I am most thankful. Because of the gap in the census on PEI, he has managed to slip through the cracks of time. Another problem I've come across is that there were 2 Roderick's in Boston at that time and I have acquired more information on Roderick A.than I need or want and nothing on Roderick J. Just sharing my tale of woe. So it is not the site it is our own families that have stayed under cover all this time. Good luck on your research, Jim
