    2. The volunteers at" RAOGK " are the GREATEST. After years of researching for my grandfather,Roderick J. McInnis, and not learning nearly enough to find him, Virginia, a volunteer there came through for me in a very short space of time. Here is what she basically found for me. Roderick J. McInnis was born on East Point, PEI on 27 July 1867. His parents were John Mcinnis and Mary McDonald. John was a fisherman in Gloucester and lost at sea. Rodericks' mother resided on 3 Ceder St. in Gloucester. Roderick and his parents arrived in the US at Eastport, ME., July of 1879. Catherine Doucet and Roderick were married at St. Annes' Church, in Gloucester on 12 November 1895. Their first child, John James was still born on 10 February 1896 and was buried in the Cherry Hill Cem. in Gloucester. They were living at 16 Columbia, in Gloucester, MA. at that time. Their second child was Mary Florence Helena was born 31 August 1897. Their third child Edward Hallett was born 13 May 1901 while they were living at 7 Wheeler St. in Gloucester. Virginia L. was born 16 December 1903 while they were living on 53 Warner in Gloucester. Roderick filed for Naturalization 9 September 1891 at the Gloucester Police Station, while he was living at 128 Duncan Street i Gloucester. At this time he was listed as a fisherman. Witnesses were Charles E. Lee, who resided at 8 Pew Street and John Marshall who resided at 9 Beckford Street in Gloucester. Plus I have copies of the documents that she found. Now is she an Angel or what? If you have additional info to share please contact me at _suprgramps@aol.com_ (mailto:suprgramps@aol.com)
