My gggrandfather Alexander MORTON and his wife Mary GRIER, left Scotland and came to Lachute, Quebec, Canada in about 1827. Their four children were born there. They left Canada in about 1860 for Orleans Twp, Michigan. Mary's brother John GRIER was also in Lachute, I believe his wifes name was Elizabeth. Alexander MORTON born 4/11/1802 Mary GRIER BORN 4/16/1811 in Ireland. Is there anyone else researching these families? Pat in Oregon [email protected]
