Hi Lynn, I've had a little better luck than you've had, but not by much. I had done as Norma suggests, and used creative spelling. That way I was able to find one set of my g-g-grandparents. I've even searched for anyone living in an certain area by just first name and approximate birthdate. I know the enumerators had a rough job, and transcribing the handwriting on those census forms can sometimes be awfully tough. I've looked at enough of the US census images online to appreciate that. Still, it seems to me that there are a higher than normal percentage of errors on this CD set. That said, I'm glad to have it, and it's helped me a lot.
