They would probably have old farm maps with names on them probably some of the history on local residents. Worth a try. Go to http://www.ogs.on.ca/branches/first.html You might also want to look at the County Atlas information at http://digital.library.mcgill.ca/CountyAtlas/ If you find them there see if you can get a photocopy from a library of the actual County Atlas page that refers to the ancestors you find. They are visually most pleasing, some even including sketches of the farmers in addition to their farms. Good luck.
