Just heard about a dig going on of the Soldier Garrison or fort on Victoria Park Road. Can someone tell me about this. I understand that a Harris Family near the Fort, married 3 to 4 of their daughters to members of the British Garrison. Is there a list somewhere of the soldiers of this British Garrison? Could someone forward it to me? Who were the Harris Daughters who married the soldiers? Who were the Parents of the Harris Daughters? Where does Victoria Park Road go to? Uxbridge? Any help would be appreciated as I think my husband is a descendant of one of the Harris Daughters!
