I had missed the original query about Nelson - but I can add to that it was a village in the west part of what is now Burlington, Ontario. Located on Lake Ontario west of Toronto. Which should help you find it on a map. What exactly are you after - I grew up in Burlington - in fact that area. I do have a history book here of Burlington - and can perhaps direct you to some other books. I may be going there on Sunday.
