    1. [SCTCDN] Roll Call MCNAIRN,STILLWELL
    2. Hello. I am researching the name McNairn and variants, such as McNarin, MacNairn, McNerrin, McNarine, etc. My McNairn family emigrated from Scotland in the mid 1700's to Canada, primarily ONTARIO. Several were United Empire Loyalists. My great-grandmother was a STILLWELL and I'm still trying to find out information on her family. They seem to be from the eastern area of ONTARIO. 3. Hello all - I am also researching McNAIRN with Cheryl - but to add to hers - we know that McNAIRNS came to Canada to Newfoundland, New Brunswick - and that some later went out west - so any and all connections are welcome. Also some other Scots in Canda that I am researching - are MENZIES, McBEAN - and McGREGOR - but my specific McGREGOR is Peter who came to Canada as a youngster with his family and became the first white settler of London Ontario - back in the 1820's. Judi McNairn visit my sites at http://jamcnairn.com and http://jamcnairn.com/mcnairn

    3. Bringing up the rear in the McNairn research parade, I am looking for any information I can find about one Jean McNarin who, in the years 1776 to 1792, bore a largish number of children at Stoneykirk, Wigtownshire, in congress with William Douglas, Laird of Two Mark. We have found no evidence of their marriage or even of their births. The dirth of OPR info has been attributed to a fire. Any charred remnants out there? Cheers! 3. ATTENTION: Cheryl "Zetta McNairn" Grice< [email protected]> You might want to look at the National Archives at http://www.archives.ca for your United Empire Loyalists...I think you could find them somewhere there as I recall some records. There will also be other sites if you go to Google and enter United Empire Loyalists.
