It's been a while for some longer for others, to post their interests to the List. This needs to be done at fairly regular intervals - after all, new searchers have probably joined since the last time, and hopefully all of us have added information in the meantime. So, please, everyone, give it your best shot eh? Thanks. David. This email has been scanned with Norton AntiVirus 2002

Hello Listers; I am searching the names Mowbray/Moubray and Boe from the Lanarkshire area. Christina BOE was the bride of Thomas Mowbray, and he was christened at either Walston or nearby in Lanarkshire, They had a daughter Mary b @ Thomas had a brother Joseph who married a Jennt. They had a son Thomas Mowbray b. @ 1847. Both families emigrated to Canada in the late 1840's. Thomas' & Joseph's father, from what I can remember, was a Thomas Mowbray, who appears in that vicinity around 1760. His father was a William Mowbray, and who seems to have arrived in those parts from 15-20 miles or so to the north-west of Walston, from the vicinity of Whitburn (far closer to the historical home of the Mowbray/Moubray family in Scotland, which was at Dalmeny since about 1200). Anyone out there know anything of this line of the Mowbray family? Can anyone help verify any of this? Mike Cioci Ontario, Canada
