Hello, James DALGLIESH and Elizabeth AMOS (born Nov. 22, 1824) were my g-g-grandparents, and their first child, James Amos DALGLIESH, was born May 5, 1840 in Dumfries, Waterloo County, Ontario. They were born in Yarrow, Selkirk, Scotland, and apparently were married in Canada. James BAILEY (1792-1864) and Eliza JOHNSTONE (1795-1862), my g-g-g-grandparents, were living in Carrickfergus, Antrim, Ireland before coming to Canada in 1842. They settled in Walpole Township, Haldimand County, Ontario. All of them were Presbyterians. David in Pennsylvania
