Secondly, what I am doing to make this better, is to create an index for the areas I ma researching, and then post them for free on the web. I am starting with the town of Keewatin in Kenora District. Once it is done, I will offer it to the host of the Kenora District GenWeb Site. After I have completed that one, I will continue on through other towns of personal interest. And finally, I am going to email the folks at the National Archives, thanking them for what they have done for us. I will be suggesting that it would be nice if it was faster, but thanking them, none the less. Oh, and by the way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your efforts. With out people like yourself............well, ya know what I mean. Thanks Gordon. >Have a great day. > >Gordon A. Hi Rob. You are to be commended on your individual effort to index for the the 1901 Census for the areas of your interest, and to offer it free of charge for others to use. If others did the same thing it would not take long to see a full indexing of the census. Might I suggest that the NA might appreciate receiving these indexes from yourself and others? You might also send a URL where the indexes are posted to Muriel Davidson as well. She has a website where she posts links to Census information and indexes. Her address is [email protected] Thank you also for your kind words and support. Happy Hunting. Gordon A.
