Sandy: This has got nothing t o do with Scots in Canada, other than the fact that I'm of Scots Descent, and live in Canada. Would you have, somewhere in your database, a William Cruickshank, Doctor of Medicine, born Circa 1862. He was married to Mary Cameron, and sometime in 1888 or 1889 they had a child, Margaretta Cruickshank at Old Maud in Aberdeenshire. Margaretta Cruickshank married William Ramsay (my maternal grandfather) on the 4th of January 1914 in Glasgow. I have lots of information on William Ramsay and his line, but little or nothing on William Cruickshank and Mary Cameron. Are we connected? Bill, I dont have a great deal of information on the Cruickshanks. The emigrant party in 1835 had three siblings John,Agnes and Isabella Cruickshank .John settled in London Canada. You should be able to get a copy of Margaretta's birth certificate and her parents marriage certificate from Scottish Origins Sandy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Cocker" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 01, 2002 2:29 AM Subject: Re: [SCTCDN] ARCHIBALD,DEY,MORRISON,MINTO,CRUICKSHANK, from Huntly Aberdeenshire to New Glasgow,Quebec 1834/7 > Sandy: > > This has got nothing t o do with Scots in Canada, other than the fact that > I'm of Scots Descent, and live in Canada.
