My ancestor, Robert "Robin" Barr and his wife, Agnes GALBRAITH, and their children came to Ontario in 1843. My g-grandfather, William, was their youngest son and the only child to be born in Canada, the rest being born in Scotland. Robert was born 1792 in Govan Parish, Lanark, Scotland; Agnes was born 1799 in Gorals, Lanark, Scotland. I am looking for information about their families in Scotland, their siblings, etc., and also, am having trouble finding how they came to Canada. Any help welcome and I am willing to share.
