I urge all our membership to be very careful, in where they seek information, there has been numerous "scams" out in cyberspace recently. By privately supplying your address to individuals you are opening yourself up to perhaps receiving "spam" which is the curse of the internet, and very hard to get rid of. About one of your best bets is to ask on a trusted site. RootsWeb sites are trusted, with safeguards in place to help protect posters, there is an abundance of RootsWeb list, if you feel you could be in the wrong area of where to look.... *ask*, it is easy to ask, someone on any given list will generally answer and tell you where to look, which list you should be asking. Beware of posters who are looking to endear themselves to you by supplying common sites that can be found in any search engine.
