President Jackson litterally herded these people on foot to okla and some got away and came to Canada. These families were friends of the Upper Creek Natives more commonly known as the Red Stick tribe, and just for a little extra info Okla is the only reservation with blue eyed people. They had to leave their beautiful homes they built and crops and move, and the ones who learned to speak the Seminole language even though they wereof Scottish descent were never allowed to speak it again. In other words they were never even allow to say IXCHAY which in Seminole means Good Morning. maggie mpeters@xcelco.on.ca
