There is also a Birth Index for that time. Which is not to say that our feet don't tap along with recordings of Jimmy Shand's Band. 3. My Campbells are from Argyll as far as I know. All the rest of my Scottish ancestors who came to Elgin Co are from Argyll so I assume Neil was too. I've been told his parents were Alexander Campbell & Agnes/Nancy Ferguson. So far I have not found any records of this family. I have other Campbells married to more distant family members also. The daughter of a brother of my g-g-grandfather, Nancy Munro, married a James Campbell about 1843. That was before Elgin Co was formed from Middlesex Co. I think they lived in Mosa Twp. I'll be happy to send you information on all the bits of Campbell families I have in Elgin Co & area. I think they are all from Argyll originally. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Free2beJUDI@cs.com> To: <SCOTS-IN-CANADA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 10, 2002 6:23 PM Subject: [SCTCDN] CAMPBELL, Neil > In a message dated 6/8/02 8:46:12 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > SCOTS-IN-CANADA-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: > Attn: Donna Lou Ritter" <drlulu@chartermi.net > > > Can I jump in with my CAMPBELLs also?
