I live in Guelph Ontario, Wellington County which was settled by a lot of Scots as well....I am more than willing to do as Judi, go out and take cemetery photos if folks want. Also am pretty handy to Perth County, so would be willing to go there as well. One problem though coming up soon though is weather, some of the older cemeteries are no longer in use and can't be accessed in winter, if we have snow, let me know though if any of you are interested....and will see what can be done. I had a request for New Market cemetery and I have no idea where that is - and when I looked on the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid for Bruce County I can't find a cemetery by that name in Bruce County. Janet, I have found definitely some people don't want info on the net - others don't mind - I make sure I have permission myself but other than that - if a person is dead - then I will put the name and info on the web - if the person is still alive - I simply use the term "living" ie Living McNairn etc - and no birthdate or residence or anything. I, with my cousin Cheryl Grice, am researching all MCNAIRNs, MCNARINs, and any other variation - we have found quite a few variations in old census records for sure. We have a John MCNAIRN b. 1745 who came to Ontario (1778) from Scotland via the US (1773) We also have two brothers who came to New Brunswick from Scotland in 1817 William and Anthony.
