Hello, I'm new to this list. I'm afraid I am rather ignorant about family history in Scotland and I'm not sure if the Censuses were taken at the same time as in England. If anyone has access to a Census for 1841 or 1851 (or thereabouts if not the same time), I would be very grateful if you might be able to find the family of James and Margaret Kay (nee Fraser), probably in the parish of St Cuthberts, Edinburgh. They had at least 2 children, Margaret and Catherine. Thanks in advance for your help. Joanna
