Searching for any one who has these two surnames in their family trees. Also does anyone out there know what county Oban is in. I have tried several internet sites but have found no reference to the county. After several years of searching for a living relative in Ireland I have finally found her. Unfortunately, she had no information on the family history. All she can remember her grandmother telling her is that the LEATHEM family had McLEOD connections in Oban, Scotland. I remember being told years ago that our LEATHEMS probably originated from Scotland and not Ireland as previously thought. Here is the information on LEATHEM: Searching for any information on AGNES ARMSTRONG, born 9 Jan 1854. Agnes is said to be buried in Markethill, Armagh, Ireland.
