I am searching for ancestors of George NEILSON and William JOHNSON, both were my 6th great grandfathers. They were both Jacobite prisoners, captured in Preston. Transported from Liverpool to Maryland on the Ship Goodspeed on July 28, 1716. They were sold as slaves to Charles Digges in Maryland on October 18,1716. George had a son, William NELSON (name changed)......William Johnson had a daughter, Hannah Johnson.......... William and Hannah were married about 1745. Any information will be appreciated.
