I noticed in your post you are searching for your Ross kin. So am I. Have you come across the name Gilcrest/Killecres/ Killicross in your search of Scottish records? He immigrated to Ipswich, MA in the 1660's, but I have no information on his ancestors or where he came from in Scotland. Hi Dave, Thank you for your response. I don't have very much information on the ROSS connection, but Mary ROSS married William BIRSE (b c 1778 - Aboyne) on Nov. 11, 1804 in Strachan, Kincardineshire, Scotland. We know of 2 children - Alexander and William. I continue to look!! I'll keep this on file, and if I ever find a Gilcrest/Killecres/Killicross connection, will get in touch with you.
