hi im new to genealogy and was hoping to make a connection with anyone who may be researching the same families and would like to share info and photos,are many names too many to list they start however in kirkcudbright and dumfries and auchencairn area back in abt.1750s with William (clouden)Mcleod who married Mary Holiday at Old Clouden farm their son Robert Clouden /Mcleod married Jannet Aitken (dau. of William Aitken and Jannet clark) on jan.3,1799 at Irongray or Rerrick parish ,they left scotland in 1817 and came to Pictou Co.Nova Scotia i have lots of info from this point on to the present but nothing of much before in my info attavhed with letters from scotland and to scotland from various people theres a posing question and a good one and would like to find the connection it states the Dougans,Dornans,Aitkens,and Edgars who were they? i do know one of Roberts sisters married a dougan. anyone interested please contact me .tks in advance aandrea
