    1. [SCT~ROOTS] SHARP / SHARPE >>>> McCOLLUM / McCALLUM
    2. Here goes another attempt to locate some new names on my tree. I have a g grandfather, James S. McCOLLUM who was born in Michigan, possible Prescott on 11 January 1893 and died in Michigan 31 December 1918. So that means his parents were there. Now finding them has been a chore. His mother, last name SHARP or SHARPE is from Ireland I was told. I listed at one time Orange County in Northern Ireland, but got many emails saying there is no Orange County. I had gotten the information from my uncle who was quite close. So I am waiting a reply on this one. However while waiting I decided to do another post. Maybe is someone can help me locate him as a child somewhere in Michigan, there may be his parents name listed. My attempts have ended up with no results so far. Plus from what I know James S. McCOLLUM was the only one who spelled his name like that. The rest of the clan spelled it McCALLUM. I wonder why. Can anyone help? God Bless Pam

    3. I have several Sharps in my Devlin line who were from Scotland and Ireland. If you can send some more details, I'll see if any of them might be a possible match. ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) Debbie Marino-Duffy ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- marduff86@earthlink.net :¦:- ((¸¸.·´* http://www.angelfire.com/md3/marduff63/ "Never tell a young person that anything cannot be done.
