I am looking for information on the family of my Grandfather He was William Lees Low (born 23/11/1899) in Aberdeen. The address given is 35 Menzies Road Trigg. His father was David Cowie Low David was a Cooper (Journeyman). He was married to Margaret Lees a Domestic servant. Their address was 47 Menzies Road, Trigg. David's Parents were James Low and Christiana Cowie. For the 1881 Census Christiana's address was given as 6 Shore Lane Aberdeen. Their other children were John, Christina and William. Margaret Lees parents were William Lees and Jenn (or Jane) Christie. For the 1881 Census their address was given as 64 Skaterow Fetteresso. Their other children were Jean, Elspet (or Elspeth) My grandfather also served in the Battle of Jutland. On his Identity Certificate for the Naval Service his ship was the HMS Victory and his commencement date was 1 October 1917 (could be 1914) Any help with names or places etc would be more that gratefully accepted.
