Hi All once again My George GOW married a Barbara CRAWFORD at East Kilbride 11 July 1871 (I now have a certificate). The on line IGI indicated that there was a marriage between a John CRAWFORD and a Janet SHANKLAND at E>Kilbride on the same day. However I am advised that there was no trace in the Statutory Records Indexes of such a marriage. I am trying to find the syblings of Barbara and thought that this John may have been her brother. Any suggestions? Hedley.
