Hi, Can anyone help me. I am looking for the parents of James Smith and Ann Mitchell married June 21, 1845 in the parish of Swinton and Simprim, county of Berwick. Also looking for the parents of William Black and Isabella Wright married July 4th, 1847 in the parish of Hamilton , County of Lanark. William was from the parish of Dalziel and Isabell was from the parish of Hamilton. I ordered the marriage certificates for both sets of people and this told me nothing. I am at a dead end. These people are my ggggrandparents and I would like to find out their parents names so I can continue with my search. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Karen Harvey
