Mary Lou Thanks for the info re the Rootsweb index. I have McNeil in my tree. Peter McNeil married Janet Ferguson date unknown. Their children were born in Culross, Fife. Their daughter, my 3 X gt grandmother Elizabeth McNeil born Jan 1756 married Thomas Davie at Kirkliston, Edinburgh in 1784.
