Can someone tell me if there is still a town in Scotland called "Belinshoe", and if so, where is it please? I need to know which Parish or County in order to attempt to locate a 3rd gt grandfather who was reportedly born there ca. 1800. Also, is there still a town named "Allardice". I also have an ancestor with that last name and I've seen the name listed as a "place" on the IGI, but I cannot find it recorded anywhere I've searched so far. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
