For a number of months I have sent emails to different list requesting information on ancestors who seem to just disappear, I've sent letters to those with the same family name in Glasgow and Gourock Scotland and have heard not one word back, very discouraging a family could just not up and disappear. Different ones said they would check and get back to me. I've bought books, CD's, etc, but if you can't find a beginning or ending location you might as well forget it so that is what I will do with what ancestors I had in either Ireland or Scotland. If they do not want to be found I will let sleeping dogs lie. No offense please. But if a relatives of Denis Docherty, or Phillip Docherty and Rose Demmcey, would like to know what is going on in other parts of the family I would love to hear from them. Thank you again.
