IF this helps...they were 'seeking land'..enough for their 'like rabbits' families. A guess..the boys were 'early school age' and perhaps too young to travel, while their father & mother traveled, to prepare the land? This happened in a few families. Also, there are family plots, even in Ontario of my "Grahams from the region around and especially S of Glasgow and along the road from Glasgow to Edinburgh", where they list children, and it appears an illness may have 'swept through' a family, i.e., a fever? The lists have been five or six d/o or s/o the same parents. Do you have any access to the siblings of the parents ...prior to their move to Canada? Sheila
